Scouting Haagse Hout is looking to set up student scouts. We have a bespoke hut and a place for campfires. We just need more enthusiastic students to get things moving!
Interested? Please fill in the form below. Once we have enough people we’ll invite you to meet up and decide if, when and how the group will take shape. Perhaps as a branch of our existing club, Scouting Haagse Hout? Or, if that’s too hard to pronounce, as an independent group using our accommodation. There are plenty of student scout groups in the Netherlands, but only one other international one – in Maastricht.
You can join student scouts even if you belong to another scout group. Student scouts always meet on a weekday evening to keep your weekends free. Though if you are around at the weekend, perhaps you’d like to lend a hand with our local cubs or scouts and improve your Dutch at the same time?
We are open to all students over 18 in and around The Hague. Also those who live in The Hague but study elsewhere.
Are you a student, but you’d prefer to get involved in a different way, for example as a leader, assistant leader, web editor, board member, occasional helping hand? We’d still love to hear from you.
Dutch speaking students are also welcome, but it will be an English speaking group with the opportunity to make friends from all around the world. If you’re looking for a Dutch speaking adult scouts group we can connect you to another group in The Hague.
